Puzzling Time for Students

This month I had a fantastic time helping with a game session at Appleby School. Steven (both a teacher and Crackerjack Toys customer) lead an interactive puzzle session with year 5 and 6 students from Maungatapu class and their teacher Ian Lambie. The children embraced the challenge of more than 10 different games. The class was alive with their energy and enthusiasm as they moved around discovering new games and applying their problem solving skills.

Kath Bee Farewell

A few months ago local well known and loved singer/song writer Kath Bee held an in store concert at Crackerjack Toys to say goodbye to her Nelson followers with her move to Auckland. Kath livened up the shop with a great performance and the children joined in with plenty of singing and actions. I hear that Kath is very busy with her singing and gigs all around the country.
