Applenook Farm Stories

Nelson based and the creators of Applenook Farm stories, Poppa Nev and Nana Dot came to Crackerjack Toys for some lively story telling in September. Their stories were very engaging and the children were in raptures. The fun started before the story telling with a camera set up so the children could see themselves on the big screen as they took their places on the mat. The story telling was mixed with some singing from Nana Dot (soon joined in by the audience) and a showing of some parts of the Applenook Farm DVD.

Applenook Farm stories have a Kiwi sense about them and use loveable animal characters involved in everyday events with some very catchy songs and tunes interwoven into the stories. The stories also include values such as bravery and kindness, courtesy and generosity. The Applenook Farm DVD stories are brightly illustrated and the content has great appeal to young children.
